Dolly's Diet

We feed are dog part dry food and part chicken with vegetables. My vet approved this diet for MY dog. I am not a vet and this is what works for My family. All we do is cook vegetables and chicken, freeze and blend bananas, and take raw veggies, and feed them to her.

Ice Cream

Hello, if you are lactose intolerant, know someone who is lactose intolerant, tired of paying a fortune on ice cream or soy-milk or coconut milk based ice cream, or you want a healthy treat for your kids or dog. I am not a someone who specializes in nutrients. Everybody knows what their needs are. I am not a not a vet. Also, most dogs are lactose intolerant, so feeding them dairy products could make them sick. But, some dogs are not lactose intolerant but you never want to feed a lot of dairy to them and never ice cream.

Supplies
1. Cookie Tray
2. Wax/Parchment Paper
3. Ninja Professional Machine
4. Spoon
5. Bowl
6. Air-tight container
7. Silicone ice cube tray

Ingredients:

The "Ice Cream"
1. Ripe Bananas
2. Pumpkin puree
(you can also probably use anything in the same consistency as a banana)

Fruit
1. Peaches
2. Strawberries
3. Blueberries
4. Raspberries

Optional: Peanut Butter

I am going to make a plain banana, but I will give the directions to make it. The pumpkin all you do is scoop into the ice cube tray and freeze and then just blend them with any other ingredients like you the way you would with the banana.

Directions:
First take your ripe bananas and and cut them up it small pieces. Then line your cookie tray with wax paper and place your banana pieces on the tray. Add small pieces of the fruit you want to the tray and place in freezer for 2 hours. After the 2 hours flip the pieces and place in the freezer for 30 minutes. After the thirty minutes place the banana in the blender and blend till creamy ( If the banana flakes it means it is not ripe enough.) Then add the fruit and blend till creamy. Then you would add peanut butter if you want and blend again. Then serve. Add the extra to the airtight container.

*if you don't add the fruit don't blend and same with the peanut butter

Horses, Movies, Sewing, Oh My

Hello, today, my mom, my sister, and I went horseback riding. My family doesn't own any horses but, we have all ridden horses since we were little. My mom growing up had neighbors and family members who owned horses. Growing up, my mother's cousin worked at a race track and he let us ride the ponies around the stalls ( retired horses are called ponies.) But, we only did that once. Other times we went horseback riding at stables.

Yesterday, we went to the movies for $6.29 a person and $5 for a small popcorn and lemonade. The movie we saw was The Secret Life of Pets. I wanted to blog about but when we got back home are internet provider's server died (first time in four years.) We don't use any big cable/internet/phone companies, because we have over-the-air (ota), kind of like a radio, but with television channels. Also, their internet wasn't very good with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. But, are internet company is so good and affordable.

For the winter, I am thinking about sewing a coat, a hood and muffler, a pair of socks, gloves, and pants. I'm thinking about making it out of 100% cotton fleece for softness and warmth (bottom layer), 100% wool for more warmth (middle layer), and 100% cotton for a nice look (top layer.)

Thank you for reading. Have a great day.

Hello

Robin's nest with an egg

Just saying hi. I might post at the beginning of next week, but, I will definitely post at the end of the week.

That is a real bird's nest. We didn't have the glass plate on the thing that goes over the outside porch light and my dad had just put in a brand new porch to the house we have been living at since 2009 of August. We went to the glass plate back on and there was a bird's nest in the racky thingy that holds the glass plate. No matter what, we were going to have to move the nest because my dad had to touch it, to put the glass plate in there and if we left it in there all the baby eggs were gonna die and possibly catch are roof to the porch on fire. So we took the nest in and I took a picture and then gave it to my science teacher. But, for the next three days, a robin dropped eggs on are brand new porch.

Have a nice day. Thank you for reading. Also, if you have any questions please ask.

Future Dresses

1. A red dress for the fall and summer. I want it so I can were a long sleeve dress shirt or a short sleeve shirt underneath. But it will be designed for summertime. I first just have to find the perfect fabric.

2. Then I would like a dress for Thanksgiving. I would prefer a short sleeve dress with a skirt that stops before the knees in a orangey color. So I could also wear in the spring and/ or summer.

Knit Fabric
$14.99 a yard

3. I would also like a dress for Christmas. I would like it  in a white or silver color with a little bit of color. I would like it to be a long sleeve maxi dress with a split on both sides just below the knees.

Maybe for a belt and to be seen through the split
$9.99 a yard
For cuffs
$6.99 a yard

This for the dress but in the color white

The Fairly New Black, White, and Pink Maxi Dress

Back in April, I went to JoAnn Fabrics with my Mom to get a coat pattern for my Grandma. We also decided to look at fabrics, because my mom wanted some fabric that was the same material as the new dress she bought. The dress is made out of a beautiful rayon. 100% rayon is super lightweight, man made material. At the top, there is 24 rows of gathering with elastic thread. Then there is a simple side down the side that splits just below the knee to make it easier to walk. The dress also has removable hooks, that hooks into the elastic thread at the top. We went and got eye and hook fasteners and used the hooks from that. We took 4 hooks for each strap and put 2 at each end ( on the same side. Also, if one end all the hooks face east, the other end all the hooks face west. )

The straps ( sorry the aren't iron )

Pets

My family has have always love animals. We have 1 dog, Dolly, 3 cats, Tiger, Daphne, and Belle, and over 30 fishes. My sister anytime we went to the zoo she wanted to bring home all the animals. Even though we consider that all the animals are everybody, I would still like my own. So today, I am going to tell you about my family's animals.

My Dad got my Mom a cat, before they got married. My Dad told my Mom she could name the kitten anything she wants. My Mom so badly wanted to name him Tigger, but my Dad said no, but you can name him Tiger. Tiger is almost always grumpy, he and my sister hate each other, he loves my Mom and I, and he likes to play with measuring tapes. He also, likes chicken or tuna flavored cat treats, loves tuna fish, and stares you down when you are eating ice cream.

Fours after my sister was born, my mom decided she wanted a dog for mother's day. We got Dolly from a breeder. Dolly was born on March 14, 2008 (March 14, is my birthday, I am just older.) Dolly is also a purebred Shih Tzu ( Chrysanthemum Dog.) They are a long hair breed, sweat like us, and they do not shed ( This is why we keep her very short in the summer and a little longer in the winter.) Dolly loves to go on walks, go camping, and eat treats ( we don't give her very many since starting her on more of a natural diet.)

I took this picture just at the right moment

My sister so badly wanted a cat. So we looked all over and finally we decided to go to a rescue called Lollypop Farms, which is located in Egypt, New York. My sister didn't want a cat that would go to you. So out of the two cats she wanted, my parents decided choose less skittish one. She was 4 months old and born December 12, 2008. My sister was in love with Scooby-Doo and her favorite character was Daphne. So, my sister's new cat was name Daphne. Before Lollypop Farms rescued Daphne she was abused and starved. So are cats and dog get unlimited dry food and water. So know whenever you see just a tiny bit of white at the bottom she acts like she is gonna die. She is the most dramatic cat you will ever met. But seven years later, she loves to get lovings ( Lovings are belly rubs and getting petted. We made it up and if you also made it up, they say great minds think a like.)
Mama Kitty ( she got the nickname when we got Belle )
Pretty Girl

When we were little we would always go to this farm, and the last year we went there was this box of 3 kittens with a sign saying eight week old kittens. Well everyone was looking at the two bigger kittens and we decided o look at the runt of the litter. She was beautiful and we wanted her, but because, our dad had said,"no, we aren't getting any more animals, so went to head out and my dad asked," well how much does she cost?" My mom asked and the lady said," oh, she is free." So we told are dad and he said," well you can get her." When we got home we put her in a travel carrier and set her on the table and went to the store to get kitten food. Well when we brought her to the vet we were told we had to wait 2 weeks because she is only six weeks old. Well when we went back to the vet the said well she is so small for her age and is 10 weeks and has Feline Leukemia. We got all the cats vaccinated and spoiled her. When we went to her check up visit, she came back negative for Feline Leukemia. The vet told she has been researching and when they are that little a lot of times they get a false positive for Feline Leukemia. Well know she is the most naughtiest cat in the world. She is always bringing my clean laundry up from the cellar. Belle is 5 lbs and born on August 7, 2010.
Belle

If I do get any animals I hope it will be guinea pigs and I will get 2 or 3 females. Also, there names are Lily Angela, Luna Angel, and/ or Lola Amanda.

Dolly ran off

Dolly
On Saturday, July 9, Dolly ran off. Four years ago we were camping in a pop-up camper and one night we wen through a really bad thunderstorm. Dolly got really scared. Well yesterday we went there again and we went to fix the awning and Dolly got out. About 10 minutes later, we realized that Dolly was missing. I started to walk toward the playground hoping to see her. She was near a red pick-up truck. When I called her name she came running. I picked her up as fast as I could and held her to my chest she was scared (she was shaking and when she shakes it means she is scared). We were so glad when we found her.
